Genética Pampeana carries out its selection work in one of the most challenging regions for soybean production, in Maranhão — under high temperatures, sandier-textured soils and environments subject to periods of water deficit.

It is in this setting that our materials are evaluated and selected. The natural pressure of the environment makes it possible to identify cultivars with greater adaptive capacity, good root development, yield stability and a consistent response even when growing conditions are less than ideal.

This hardiness is also borne out by results obtained across different producing regions. Genética Pampeana cultivars have been showing competitive performance in higher-stress environments, sustaining yield and stability in the face of variation in soil, climate and management.
